Shorin Ryu Karate is one of the major modern Okinawan martial arts and is one of the oldest styles of karate. Instructor Frank Coronado has 27 years of martial arts expierence and is a fourth degree black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate.
In these classes students will be instructed on how to properly make a fist and how to properly punch. The 15 basic techniques, which include blocking, punching and kicking, will also be a part of the training. Self-defense techniques will also be included in the training sessions. Students should wear loose clothing or clothing that they feel comfortable in.
